Badshot Lea signed two League One players on Loan including an International. Dan Fitchett and Matt McClure both from Wycombe Wanders Football Club. Matt McClue is a Northern Ireland U19 midfielder. They both played against Town on Saturday.

Town played a very strong and well organised Badshot Lea side at the New Defence. Town started well and after three minutes Adam Pullen was pulled

down just outside of the box and Luke Reggetti took the free kick quickly but his shot went wide of the upright. In the seventh minute the Badshot Lea winger played in from the left beat three Town defenders before firing past Horley keeper Dean Culpit to go one nil up. In the fifteen minute a good Horley attack involving Adam Pullen and the hard working Luke Jones saw his shirt being pulled but the referee waved play on. Next Danny Medhurst was pulled down and again Luke Reggetti went close for Town. This was followed up by a long range shot from John Eldred. With twenty five played Luke Jones went on a great darting run down and through the Badshot Lea defence before passing an inch perfect ball to Luke Reggetti whose shot again went just wide of the upright. With twenty left Adam Pullen fired a powerful shot that the Badshot keeper could not hold and he dropped the ball and had to back pedal to clear off the line. Luke Jones then had a long range shot which he tried to lob the keeper but the ball just flew over the cross bar. With eleven minutes left a mistake at the back saw Badshot Lea score number two. With nine minutes Luke Jones again made a great run down the wing before crossing and finding the head of Adam Pullen whose header beat the keeper but hit the upright. In the closing minutes Danny Medhurt crossed for John Eldred whose shot went just wide of the upright. In the closing minute keeper Dean Culprit pulled of a good save diving to his left. Horley went in at half time two nil down. Town came out all guns blazing and in the opening minute Luke Jones did a good run down the wing and crossed and the ball went through the box with nobody unable to get on the end of it. With seven played John Eldred got elbowed in the face in the Town’s box, but the referee waved play on. Town continued to attack with good play from Luke Jones and Luke Reggettii but they could not find a goal. Next the Badshot Lea defender went in the referee’s book with a yellow card after a foul on JJ.Then a tussle on the half way line saw Badshot pick up their second book and Town’s Luke Regettii.With eighteen played Adam Pullen again broke and hit the cross bar. With four minutes left skipper Danny Guscott took a quick free kick which went just wide. Three minutes into injury time with Town pushing forward Badshot
scored number three first Danny Guscott cleared on the line before they followed up and scored number three.
